Scalar Breathwork

Gentle guided breathwork inside the Scalar Room designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional wellbeing, relaxation, and deep rest.

So many people are living in survival mode without even realising it.

Always busy.
Always giving.
Always carrying the weight of the world.

At Soulibrium Wellness Centre in Shell Cove, our Scalar Breathwork sessions combine gentle guided breathing, calming sound healing and the peaceful environment of the Scalar Room, powered by The Light System™, to support nervous system regulation, deep relaxation and emotional wellbeing. Welcoming clients from Wollongong, the Illawarra and South Coast, each session is designed to help you slow down, reconnect and simply breathe.

This isn't about pushing your limits or intense breathwork techniques.

There is no hyperventilating.
No pressure.
No forcing.

Just slow, supportive breathing designed to calm your nervous system, quiet a busy mind and create space for your body to finally exhale.

What Is Scalar Breathwork?

Scalar Breathwork is a gentle guided breathing experience designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional wellbeing, grounding, deep relaxation and a stronger connection with your body.

Held within the calming environment of the Scalar Room, powered by The Light System™, sessions combine:

• Slow guided breathing
• Calming sound healing
• Nervous system support
• Gentle grounding practices
• Scalar wave technology
• Full-spectrum light and colour

Rather than pushing the body into an intense emotional experience, each session is designed to create a safe, supportive space where you can slow down, soften and reconnect with your breath at your own pace.

Many clients describe Scalar Breathwork as deeply calming, grounding and emotionally restorative, leaving them feeling lighter, more centred and better equipped to navigate the demands of everyday life.

Breathing Is Something Many of Us Forget How to Do Properly

When people feel stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in constant “go mode”, the nervous system often shifts into shallow breathing patterns without even realising it.

Over time, this can leave the body feeling:

  • Tight

  • Overstimulated

  • Emotionally overwhelmed

  • Disconnected from itself

  • Unable to properly switch off

  • Stuck in stress and survival mode

Scalar Breathwork helps bring awareness back to the breath in a safe, supportive, and approachable way.

Not through force.
Not through pressure.
But through softness, support, and slowing down.

Designed for People Who Feel Nervous About Breathwork

Some of the most common things we hear are:
“Breathwork scares me.”
“I don’t think I’m good at breathing properly.”
“What if I panic?”
“What if I can’t do it?”

We completely understand.

Many people feel nervous before trying Breathwork for the first time, especially if they experience anxiety, overwhelm, or struggle to switch off mentally.

That is exactly why our Scalar Breathwork sessions are intentionally designed to feel gentle, grounding, calming, and supportive rather than intense.

Our experienced practitioners are there to guide and support you throughout the entire experience. Everything is optional, everything is gentle, and you are always encouraged to move at your own pace and listen to your body.

There is no “perfect” way to do Breathwork.

Just an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with yourself again.

Scalar Breathwork can feel especially supportive during this stage of life because it creates space to soften the nervous system, reconnect with the body, and finally allow yourself to receive support too.

This is not about fixing yourself.

It is about giving your body the opportunity to feel safe enough to breathe deeply again.

What Happens During a Scalar Breathwork Session?

Arrival & Grounding

When you arrive at our Shell Cove wellness centre, welcoming clients from Wollongong and across the Illawarra, your practitioner will warmly welcome you into the Scalar Room and help you settle comfortably into your recliner or treatment bed.

Before the session begins, we invite you to place your phone on airplane mode, take a few slow breaths and simply arrive. There is nothing to achieve—just space to slow down, feel supported and prepare your body for the experience.

Guided Breathwork & Sound

Throughout the session, you'll be gently guided through slow, supportive breathing practices combined with calming sound healing inside the peaceful environment of the Scalar Room, powered by The Light System™.

There is no pressure to breathe a certain way or perform in any way. Every breath is guided with care and intention, creating a safe space for your nervous system to settle, your body to soften and your mind to become quiet.

Rest & Integration

Sessions conclude with a period of stillness and quiet integration, allowing your body and nervous system time to absorb the experience before returning to your day.

Many clients leave feeling calmer, lighter, emotionally settled and deeply rested. We encourage you to enjoy a complimentary herbal tea, stay hydrated and take things gently, allowing the benefits of your session to continue unfolding.
